The Trust, created in 2014 by the community-minded law firm, is dedicated to supporting charitable causes in East Anglia and raises funds through staff activities and corporate events held during the year across the company’s four offices.
As every team member in each office gets to vote for a chosen charity, we were absolutely delighted to hear that the Cambridge office had selected Stars Children’s Bereavement – this generous amount will go a long way to help support children in Cambridgeshire facing grief.
Rhian Brook from Ashtons said: “Since its inception, the Ashtons Charitable Trust has raised over £50,000 which has been shared between local charities and causes, which means we are giving something back to the communities where we live and where we choose to raise our children. I am delighted that my fellow colleagues in Cambridge chose Stars this year – it is a fantastic charity that helps many children when they need it the most”.
